Min/Max: 4/15 Working from a live model, this 2-day intensive covers the classical figure drawing approach that begins with a simple abstraction of the figure, refined through conceptual models of light, anatomy and a guiding aesthetic that finds beauty in truthful expression. Students will learn drawing techniques that improve accuracy as well as how to utilize value to create the illusion of three-dimensional space. Carol’s artwork will be displayed in the Alliance for the Arts September exhibit Modern Atelier: The Methods of Today’s Training.
